Nike closed out 2020 with a bang, introducing the Kobe 6 Protro Grinch. The original Kobe 6 Grinch dropped in 2011 when Kobe Bryant’s Lakers faced LeBron James’ Heat in a historic Christmas showdown. Reimagined with modern performance tech, the Kobe 6 Protro boasts a Green Apple and Volt textured, snake-inspired upper that pays homage to Kobe’s Black Mamba moniker. The look is finished with a black Swoosh, red Kobe branding, and a green translucent outsole. An updated Zoom Air cushioning system and scaled-down traction offer an improved court feel, while the silhouette has been altered for a lower, sleeker fit.
